Welcome to "Phil's Loco Photos"

A further seventeen day blitz on my Inter Rail ticket, I flew to Düsseldorf and made a fast blitz to do Mönchengladbach -Dalheim while it was still loco hauled. I went to Berlin for some 232 moves via Wriezen & Eberswalde to Stralsund before returning to Berlin and overnight to Decín and then to Turnov and Praha via Nymburk for overnight to Budapest. A quick run with an M61 before going to Debrecen for the train to Romania via Valea lui Mihai which put me into the booked turn for ALCO powered 61.0001 on train A422 to Bucureşti Nord. I then made my way to Constanta on the overnight and then back to Medgidia and the branch Negru Voda where I walked / taxi / got a lift to and over the Bulgarian border to Kardam. 07.085 then took me to Varna and I managed another 07 down the branch Staro Orjahovo and the overnight to Plovdiv where I managed two 07 runs on my way to Svilengrad and a DMU over border and later the overnight to Thessaloniki. I get A-504 rescuing Ganz junk and then A-209 to Kulata and return to Thessaloniki on MLW music. Next day a visit to Thessaloniki depot and then I chase winner A-304 and then to Larissa to pick up 602, A-508 takes over and I head for Kulata, get five new 07s on way to Sofia and overnight to Beograd with 06 power to Nis! Manage to not get robbed by keeping sleeper door firmly locked all night. Once in Budapest a couple of M62s then to Bratislava and to St Pölten for a day and then back for more M61 action on Balaton. Next day to Ljubljana and Zagreb via Murakeresztúr and Čakovec and same again next day and ended up in Koper for night. Once away from Koper it was a full day on Pula line, with all trains class 2062 powered and to Sežana with a 2062 also. Up to Ljubljana for München overnight and north to Düsseldorf for flight home
