Welcome to "Phil's Loco Photos"

A twelve day trip to Morocco and Spain started with a flight from Manchester to Marrakech. The first six days were a PTG trip of Southern Morocco, despite a selection of freight locos being requested we found that DH-372 (a standard passenger GM loco) had been sent south to Marrakech to work our train. We also were not given access to the docks lines that we were expecting. Despite this we still took rare diesel working on the normally electric only lines to Safi, Oued Zem and Jorf Lasfar. Once the tour was over a few of us made a quick trip to Oujda to savour some freight DH action. We then made our way to Tanger for one night and we then sailed to Algeciras and took the afternoon Altaria to Córdoba. After an hour there it was the Altaria to Granada where we stayed the night. Next morning it was a DMU to Almería where we had a few hours before taking the afternoon Talgo to Alcázar de San Juan for one night. Next day I took the morning Talgo from Almería to Madrid and made my way to the airport for my flight back home
