Welcome to "Phil's Loco Photos"

A two week trip to France and Spain started with Eurostar to Paris, then over Austerlitz and south Orléans for first night. Next day from Orléans with the "Interloire" train bound for Le Croisic to St-Pierre-des-Corps and to Tours then the train from Paris - Royan with a 67400 and then south to Bordeaux after covering quite a few of the pairs in action on line to Nantes. From Bordeaux I took an IC to Marseille for two nights, covering the Miramas diesel turn first night. Next day was on the line to Nice and then south to Narbonne for an afternoon at the station with camera. On to Spain via the "Mare Nostrum" Talgo to Barcelona and then to Murcia for one night. Quick trip to Cartagena then back to Murcia and to Águilas for the night. Highlight of trip next morning with a 334 hauled Talgo from Águilas taken to Murcia, and on to Madrid with an afternoon trip on 334s to Alcázar de San Juan. Back to Madrid for the "Estrella" north to Barcelona and via Blanes to Girona. AVE and TGV combination to Nîmes for the "Cevenol" to Clermont Ferrand on over to Lyon for three nights. Plenty of travelling around Lyon with hourly loco hauled trains on line to Dijon, and made my way to Paris and to Cherbourg. Next day went to Trouville-Deauville, Dives-Cabourg and Le Havre giving me plenty of coastal views. Back to Paris and then line from Pontoise - Creil before back to Austerlitz and Orléans for the train to Le Croisic for one night. Covered the Nantes 67 action again and made my back to Orléans. Last day took me to Montparnasse to cover the 76 action on Rambouillet circuit and then Eurostar back home
