Welcome to "Phil's Loco Photos"

A short trip to Germany for another V200 trip which was followed by a week in Poland. I flew with Ryanair (as did quite a few others) from Stansted - Dortmund. After a false start we then found some 143 action and then up to Münster for one night. Plenty of British on the Maybach music to Wernigerode next day and an out and back to Drei Annen Hohne before returning to Wernigerode and back to Osnabrück on the special train. I went east next morning with an IC to Berlin, a Regio 182 to Frankfurt/O, Taurus to Poznań and then a wedged Sunday night TLK with premier EP08 power to Warszawa. Four nights in the Ibis Reduta near Zachodnia was my base. Monday was successful with an EP08 on the EIC to Jelenia Góra and back to Warszawa. After picking up some flu bug it was then short days and keep warm, so a trip to Kraków and back on the Tuesday. Another trip to Poznań on the Wednesday as I knew another EP08 was out on the main line, so more 140 km/h running. I had a play on KM Traxx locos out of Zachodnia and then took a TLK south to Kraków via the CMK and four nights in the Ibis near the station. My Friday move was decided when the PKP site advised that a hauled set was out vice EMU on an IC from Kraków - Szczecin via Kielce, quite a bit of EMU only track involved. I took it to Opoczno Południe and returned to Kraków with a winning EU07. The Saturday was always down for a long trip out to Krynica-Zdrój which was easy to do with a through train from Warszawa at this time of year. On the Sunday it was a round trip to Wrocław and back with an extra trip to Brzeg to fill out the day. I left Kraków on the Monday morning, really annoying was watching am EP08 on the next EIC to Warszawa which I couldn't touch as I had to head to Opole and then Katowice. A pre booked mini bus shuttle took me to the airport and my Wizzair flight back home
