Welcome to "Phil's Loco Photos"

A ten day Inter Rail started by taking my first Eurostar from the splendid St Pancras International. I went to Bruxelles and then Heist-Op-Den-Berg where I stayed the night. Next day I went to Germany via various trains and ended up at Recklinghausen where I stayed prior to the tour to Hamburg with 221.116 on a very healthy load thirteen. I spent few hours on Metronom services and took some photos before our return journey to Bochum. On the Sunday I set off to Amsterdam via Dülmen, Coesfeld and Gronau to Enschede and then to Amsterdam for the CNL with black 189.090 on the front for the journey to St Pölten. We then took the booked pair of 2095s to Mariazell as this was one not to miss. I ended up at Linz and next day did Vöcklabruck - Kammer-Schörfling and then straight to Innsbruck and up the Brenner to Colle Isarco for a few hours. I stayed in Brennero and went to Brixlegg before the long run to Seuzach for a few nights. Next two days were photos on the Gotthard and at Pratteln. It then went back to Germany for the Bamberg - Aschaffenburg bicycle train as it did the freight only line between Schweinfurt and Gemünden and then back to Holland via Berlin. Then to Belgium for the Knokke branch during the day and then Eurostar home
