Welcome to "Phil's Loco Photos"

A short two day trip to Paris, travelling out and back by Eurostar from London Waterloo, usual crawl over the southern but then straight up to 300 km/h within France. I go over to St-Lazare and take 16008 to Rouen-Rive-Droite for the booked pair of 66.4 on a Sunday only train to Caen. I get off at Bayeux for another booked pair of 66.4 on a train from Rennes - Caen. I then wait for a train from Cherbourg - Paris St-Lazare which was Sulzer powered 68071 piloting the normal 67400 type. I returned west from Paris St-Lazare on the overnight train to Cherbourg, a pair of 67400 to Caen and then a single one forward. Sadly no choice but to suffer a Turbo back out of Cherbourg all the way to Paris. After a few hours sightseeing with friends I did some old electric moves out of Montparnasse to Versailles-Chantiers and then to Montes-La-Jolie and back into St-Lazare. It was then over to Nord for the Eurostar back to London
