Welcome to "Phil's Loco Photos"

An eight day visit to Slovenia, Croatia, Austria and Italy. I flew to Maribor and then walked to the nearby station at Orehova Ves and took a 664 to Ptuj where I stayed a couple of nights. I spent a few hours getting photos of some freight action and had a few runs on 664s. Next day I was busy on the trains and took the Maribor - Hodoš and enjoyed the GM sounds. We went to Zidani Most and on to Zagreb and then to Varaždin and then back to Podrute for some photos. The next morning was a really early start to do the branch to Golubovec while it was mostly loco hauled, and then onto the Osijek line and back on the overnight to Zagreb. Did some more GM moves and then back to Ptuj for another night there. I then headed for Austria for three nights at St Jodok. I spent most of the first day on the trains as weather was poor but on the Saturday I spent day at the lovely old station at Colle Isarco with the bonus of many ski trains heading for Bolzano. Next day I headed for Innsbruck and the flight back home
